Throwback: Amsterdam (2008)
It's always refreshing to remember my Amsterdam trip back in 2008. Our team was sent by our company to have training in Netherlands, hence this once in a million experience and awe-inspiring visit to Amsterdam. We would always visit Amsterdam every weekend as our way of de-stressing and of course to explore every nook and cranny till our feet hurts.Ever since 2014 started, it's been on my mind 90% of the time. I want to go back. Really bad. I've been praying that I'll be given the chance again to visit this beautiful place. I missed everything that I saw and experienced here. The coffeshop, shopping places, canals, beautiful European people, and yes I miss getting lost too because that is one beauty of exploring. So, in this gratitude blog, I will transport myself every now and then to relieve the awesome memories I had.
Till next "transport/throwback trip" =)
Thank you God for this experience!

Staycation: Ace Hotel and Suites
Last December, the highlight of me and my son's vacation was our wonderful stay in Ace Hotel and Suites in Pasig. It was definitely worth it and our stay was indeed pleasant. Up to this day, there's still the desire in me to go back and repeat the beautiful experience again. The rate last December was about Php5, 000 and I just made a 10% reservation before our check in date.
We enjoyed the following blessings:
Nice and comfortable room
The complimentary wine (for me)
Free Wifi
The complimentray breakfast for 2 (in a very cozy and dainty place)
Free Ace Spa for 2 ( It was my son's 2nd time but this time he really enjoyed the water fun experience)
The restaurants and stores nearby
The good service
and of course, the most important thing was our bonding! Truly, any vacation or staycation it brings sparkle to any relationship.
So, let the pictures do the big talking here:

There's something in lamps that makes me feel relax.
I love the complimentary wine that I decided to bring it home
The Comfy bed

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and am really hoping to go back here because it's very relaxing. The Ace spa is something to be enjoyed with their hydrotherapy massage and all that comes with Ace staycation. And not to be forgotten is their wonderful view in their Sky High bar! You can dine here and have drinks too combined with the awesome view.
As for the buffet breakfast, that will be on my next post because I always treasure buffet dining. There's something nice to experience whether it's an expensive, affordable or cheap buffet dining.
Till next!

Going Back to Blogging and New Beginnings
New beginnings for Gratitude
I've been practicing the attitude of gratitude but most often than not, I really falter in that area but let me make a shift for this year. Let it be a practice, a real practice. So, this is one of my many goals for this year and this should keep me going. :) #HOPEFUL
So for this first entry, here's my picture that encapsulates for this new beginning.
Cakes from Richmonde Hotel buffet that I had last December. The blueberry cheesecake by the way is so mouth-watering because it melts in your mouth.
